The SharInk tool is a set of software oriented to the definition of a document management system (DMS) service.

The objective of this family of information systems is to organize and facilitate the collaborative creation of documents and other content, basically providing functions of cataloging, indexing and retrieval of information.

The main feature of SharInk is its modular organization based on a double hierarchical level, through which the system is able to provide both intra-company document management services and inter-company document management services.

This method of purchase requires the payment of a monthly fee that enables the use of the software in pay per use version

The Local DMS is dedicated to the document governance of the specific company and is divided into different user levels both for management based on accounting and for routine maintenance of the system.

One of the main features of the Local DMS system lies in the integration of an indexing system for textual content extracted from documents uploaded via the interface (MoR, semantic search engine).

Through this system it is possible to put into practice the superposition of a semantic layer on each recorded document, through which to optimize the recovery procedure for more or less ambiguous requests by an operator. The following are the main features:

  1. Information ranking. The degree of correspondence of the results of a search with respect to the search key is quantified with an index which, given the semantic nature of the system, is a function of the degree of contextual relevance;
  2. Spelling correction. This function allows you to remedy any typing errors in the indexing or search phase by analyzing the roots of the terms;
  3. Extraction of words from texts. MoR in the text analysis phase recognizes compound words by analyzing them in all the deducible forms of the complete term
  4. Multilingual support. The system currently supports texts in Italian or English. The integration of other linguistic domains would require
  5. Semantic affinity. An aspect of considerable prestige for a textual indexing system, this function allows the retrieval of information from texts without the required term being explicitly mentioned in them but simply for its semantic affinity. It allows you to index a text, as well as through the terms present within it, also through different semantic and syntactic rules. Among these we have synonymy, hyperonymy, etc. which are managed both in the indexing and in the search phase;
  6. Simple and advanced search. The research can be conducted through a mix of information characterizing a document or through specific elements that identify it. The first will be useful if the search is of a cognitive and not direct nature, while the second will be more useful for identifying a smaller number of results, a need that is certainly indispensable if the search key is strongly linked to the context of reference for a large number of documents in the archive
